House is beautiful. Easy to get to. Plenty of space. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Beach is beautiful. Getting to the beach was a chore with kids. Hot sand. Worth the short walk. They loved it. Not sure which they liked the most. Beach or pool.

I would highly recommend Our Happy Place and plan on returning next year. We've been coming to the OBX for 35 years and this home is in our top 4! Very reasonably priced for an Oceanfront home of this size and appointed way beyond our expectations. Considering we visited during the Corona pandemic, we felt safe in knowing that the home was very clean upon our arrival. And Joe Lamb Realty kept us informed constantly prior to our arrival. Obviously, there's a reason the homeowner chose "Our Happy Place" as the name for this home: My family and I were quite happy there and actually felt at home!

The house was PERFECT. Everything we needed was there. The movie selection was amazing, the space and layout of the house fit our group of 3 families well. The pool, hot tub all in great condition and clean. We really loved the house and location and we will definitely be back!

LOVED this house. It is beautifully decorated and spacious and open. This is the first rental property in which I felt like they had everything you could need. We did not lack anything.
They even had vegetable peelers and tea pitchers:)
I fell in love with house...I keep telling my husband I want to build it at home for us. LOVED the family room rug!!! AMAZING selection of movies.....someone is super organized to have everything you would need inside a categorized notebook. The connect four game was a fun bonus! Hot tub is nice! Definitely fell in love with this property!!!!!! My favorite rental property EVER!!!! Keyless entry is also a nice option.
