VISIT EACH TOWN!

DUCK
This charming small town is pedestrian friendly and transports you back to when your primary need for transportation was by foot or bicycle. Everything you need is within a short, convenient walk. The town boardwalk can almost access the entire Town of Duck, which connects over 18 waterfront shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
SOUTHERN SHORES
Southern Shores is located between the Town of Duck, NC, and Kitty Hawk, NC. The town of Southern Shores is just a few miles long and can easily be mistaken as an extension of Duck or Kitty Hawk, but don't let its size fool you; Southern Shores, although mainly residential, is full of charm and spunk! Located just north of Highway 158, this town boasts many lovely vacation rental homes and secluded beaches.
KITTY HAWK
The town of Kitty Hawk, NC, is located to the north of Kill Devil Hills and to the south of Southern Shores, NC. Kitty Hawk is home to many restaurants, golf courses, beautiful beaches, and wonderful vacation homes! Beginning at Mile Post 1 and stretching all the way to Mile Post 4, Kitty Hawk is much wider than most people see and encompasses a large nature reserve.
KILL DEVIL HILLS
The heart of the Outer Banks is located in the center of it all! This town has plenty to offer, from iconic restaurants to historical sites. Kill Devil Hills has abundant good food, great stores, and even better beaches. Stretching from around Milepost 5 to Milepost 10, the town of Kill Devil Hills is a little over 5 miles long.
NAGS HEAD
The town of Nags Head begins at roughly milepost 10 and stretches south down to milepost 25. This town is known for its old-style beach cottages and the famous Jockeys Ridge State Park, home to the largest sand dune on the east coast.
