This centuries old pastime began on the east coast of Scotland when players hit small stones across sand dunes and around the natural open spaces of land. The courses here on North Carolinas east coast are tucked within sand dunes and maritime woods. Holly Ridge Golf Course is located just 8 miles from our office in Kitty Hawk in Harbinger. A short trip off the beach across the Wright Memorial Bridge can be well worth the trip. Holly Ridge is a straight-forward, 18 hole par 71 course well-kept course that offers a great golf experience at a fantastic price. There is a lighted driving range open until 9:30pm. are notoriously challenging with sand traps, sea oats, native grasses, and shrubs, along the shimmering waters of the Roanoke Sound. Located in the Outer Banks vacation community the Village of Nags Head, the course is a Par 71, Scottish-style links course with 18 holes. Open year-round, the course has been recognized by as the one of the most beautiful in the eastern U.S. as well as featured in andmagazines as a favorite amongst golfers looking for a challenging course to play. Fully stocked pro-shop and on-site bar and grill. Proper golf attire is required at all times.
The Currituck Club in Corolla is an 18 hole championship course that offers the true Outer Banks golf experience. The Currituck Club was designed by Rees Jones, an award-winning course designer. The course was designed in a way that allows each golfer to enjoy the beauty of the maritime woods of the Outer Banks while challenging their golf skills. The Currituck Club also includes a driving range, practice bunker, and practice putting green.
