beautiful home. very comfortable living area and VERY clean bedrooms and baths. wonderful views and easy access to the ocean. back deck fun for family time. front stairs are lower height so makes it easier on knees to climb. very quiet part of beach.

Great proximity to everything on the Island. Very short walk to the beach which is important to us older folks. Only two levels so less steps to climb.

The location is perfect! The sunrise over the ocean is amazing! Sunsets are beautiful also and can be seen from the front porches. It's so close to Jockey's Ridge! The beach was very quiet w/no public beach access nearby. We're definitely very spoiled after staying at such a nice home right on the beach. We walked to Mulligan's to eat and to get ice-cream at night. Truly a perfect location!

Journeys End was the perfect house for our family! We loved swinging in the hammock during the days and getting in the hot tub at night! It was amazing watching the sun rise each morning from the deck also! The house has everything you need and more!

This was our second time at this property. We love everything about it—the location, uncrowded beach, beautiful house, excellent furnishings, very comfy beds, very clean, and stunning views. We stayed two weeks this time and will be back next year! Lots of thoughtful touches. Deck furniture is awesome, and we appreciated the hammock. Ocean on one side, view of Jockey's Ridge on the other. The best house we've stayed in. Thank you!

The cottage was spacious and very homey. Lots of stairs so not good for elderly. Great location and views from the decks were great for sunrise and sunset.

The house is full of charm and history and the location is perfect!! The decks are wonderful and provide ample outdoor space.
I had read a review about the beds being comfortable, but honestly if I could have figured out a way to bring the living room couch home with me, I would have.

We had a wonderful stay at Journey's End. The home was beautiful and spacious. The location was wonderful. Unlike many rentals, the mattresses were very nice. The home was clean and well-appointed.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the views out of the front to the beach, and the back to Jockey's Ridge.

Loved this property! The location is perfect...sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over Jockeys Ridge. So close to many shops/restaurants. The porch/deck space was perfect for outdoor living. Plenty of room to spread out inside as well.

Journey's End was a beautiful home! The kitchen was wonderfully equipped. I loved the deck and used it everyday. If you want sunshine, there is deck for that. If you want shade, there is deck for that! The bedrooms were great. I can't say enough great things about this home! The family is all onboard with returning next summer.
