Myra Ladd-Bone

With over four decades of experience in Outer Banks real estate, Myra is a seasoned professional dedicated to helping clients make informed and confident decisions. She began her real estate journey in 1981 after relocating to the OBX and never looked back. Originally an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Old Dominion University, Myra took a leave from teaching to help her husband build a real estate business. In the process, she discovered a new passion—one that has defined her career ever since.

As the founder and former owner of Atlantic Realty, Myra has been a leader in the local real estate industry, earning multiple designations, including ABR, CRS, RRS, and CSSB. She has also served on numerous boards and committees, including as past chairman of the Dare County Tourist Bureau and twice past chairman of the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce. She is currently a member of the Outer Banks Hospital Development Council, the Outer Banks Hospital Board, and the TowneBank Board.
